Mauricetown Historical Society House Tours

Tours

The Edward Compton House is open regularly on the first and third Sundays of each month (1:00 PM to 4:00 PM). Also available for visiting at the same times are the cookhouse which originally stood on the property and the 1830s New Jersey stackhouse which was moved to the historical society grounds from its original location elsewhere in Mauricetown.

Private tours may be arranged to suit the party and could include a lunch for the group, if desired. Consider joining us for a luncheon/tour which could include a visit to one of the many beautiful homes in Mauricetown as well as the old local church with a beautiful steeple that was once used as a guide home for local seamen.

If you are unable to visit on a scheduled day, call for an appointment to visit at a time
convenient for you, to book a private tour, or further information concerning the society.

No tours in December, January and February.
By appointment only. Email Us:
